Foundation, Inc. |
DISOP has been active in the Philippines since the
1980's. It has been involved in the North of Luzon (Pinukpuk, Natonin and
Kianga in the Ifugao Province), in Quezon City and in North Cotabato.
DISOP Phils. started in 1998 in the following regions: Metro Manila,
Benguet Province, Negros Oriental, Bohol, Leyte, Davao City, Davao del Sur
and del Norte, Compostela Valley, and South Cotabato.
Its current projects are in the fields of: micro-lending, micro-enterprise
and SME assistance and development, marketing assistance to farmers and
entrepreneurs, reforestation, watershed management, livestock dispersal
and cooperative development.
